Hillburi is an exclusive resort, conference & events centre situated in Aburi, Ghana. Aburi is only a 40-minute drive from the capital Accra. We offer a unique combination of tropical surroundings, with landscaping and an infinity pool overlooking the Akwapim mountain range. Looking down at the pool gives the impression that the pool is lodged at the edge of the cliff while providing a beautiful picturesque view of the evergreen hills with Accra at a distance.

The owners’ vision for Hillburi is to showcase the spectacular mountain range in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
During your visit, we can arrange tours and day trips to visit nearby attractions. The famous Aburi Botanical Gardens is just a few minutes' drive away.

In addition, Hillburi specializes in events and functions ranging from conferences, end-of-year gatherings, corporate retreats to weddings.

Ideal Location
Only 40 mins from Accra, we are strategically located to provide our guest with convenience to major attractions yet a peacefully tranquil home away from home with magnificent views throughout our property.  Being located off the beaten path, yet close to the city, provides our guest with more of that local feel.  Locals are able to visit and escape the city without traveling far.

Facilities
Apart from our indoor lounge bar and al fresco restaurant, there are hosts of activities for all to enjoy. Go for a swim or take it easy by the pool, walk round the gardens or just simply relax and capture the magnificent views over the valley and plains of the surrounding mountains.

• The H-Bar
  Hillburi’s fully air-conditioned lounge bar with a mix of African and European art and antiques, offers the finest atmosphere for either quiet relaxation or socialising with friends and other guests. Sip an exotic cocktail, or enjoy a light bite from our daily specials.
• Playground
  An outdoor playground is available next to The Pavilion restaurant. This facility is suitable for “junior” guests up to 12 years – which includes a climbing frame, large red slide and swings. Admission to this facility is complimentary. However, parental supervision is strongly recommended!
  The playground is open from 11am – 6pm.
• The Infinity Pool
  Nothing feels better than a cool dip on a hot day, overlooking the breath-taking evergreen valley. Hillburi’s infinity pool recreates a tropical environment where you can lounge, sunbathe, take a refreshing dip, and enjoy the spectacular scenery
• The Pavillion
  set in our serene gardens overlooking the infinity pool and the lush Akwapim Hills is Hillburi’s outdoor facility, The Pavilion. Natural surroundings provide an ideal backdrop to enjoy an alfresco lunch, afternoon cocktail, romantic dinner or to simply sit back, relax and take in the sounds of nature.
