About Apam Senior High School

Apam Senior High School is located in Apam in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region. The School popularly known as “Great APASS” was founded by the Late Rev. J.W. De-Graft Johnson. The school started from a very humble beginning in cocoa shed at “Apaa Paado” on the morning of 20th February 1953 as a Day Secondary School. It then
moved to its present location “Mmora Mfa Adwen” in 1960. APASS has a great tradition of excellence in academics and sports.

VISION

To be a centre of training for churning out hardworking individuals who are of service to mankind.

MISSION

The school exists to provide a conducive atmosphere for character training, excellence in academics and sports all in a bid to produce knowledgeable, useful and all round citizens imbued with good character and skills that will epitomize the school’s motto “obrapa gya owura kwan”; thus character and efficiency.
